The thesis mainly consists of the following two parts: Part ?: A study towards synthesis of acridine derivatives via cascade intramolecular [4+2] cyclization of in situ formed iminum ionsAcridine and its derivatives are an important class of nitrogen-containing polycyclic aromatic compounds with a broad spectrum of biological activities,which are applied in dyes,pigments,organic ligands and fluorescent materials.Due to the importance of these scaffolds in medicine chemistry and material science,discovery of new approaches for their synthesis remains an active research field.Iminum ions initiated cascade reaction is one of the most important and environmentally friendly synthetic method in organic chemistry.In this work,a new,high efficient,and atom-economic method for the construction of acridine skeleton has been disclosed via cascade intramolecular [4+2] cyclization of in situ formed iminum ions.The method features the use of easily available alkynes/alkenes-substituted phenylacroleins and anilines as the starting materials,and generation of water as the only byproduct.This study is not only providing an efficient method for the construction of acridine compounds,but also lays a foundation for the synthesis of active molecules and natural products.Part ?: A study of intermolecular alkyne-carbonyl metathesis/Nazarov cascade reaction for the construction of the indanone derivativesIndenone compounds are widely existed in bioactive molecules such as natural products,drugs and pesticides.These structural units are also found in organic luminescence,photochromism,dyes and other materials.Therefore,indanones are important intermediates for synthesis of drugs and bioactive compounds,and are with good prospects for industrial applications.In this project,indanone compounds were constructed by the cascade alkyne-carbonyl metathesis/Nazarov reactions,using the cheap and readily available aldehydes and alkynes as the starting materials.The method has some advantages such as simple operations,cheap and readily available raw materials,widely substrate scopes and good capacity for functional groups.This study provides a simple and practical method for efficiently constructing indanone derivatives.
