With the continuous improvement of the national consumption level in China,the demand of healthy food especially walnuts has been increasing year by year,which has promoted the deepening transformation and growth of the walnut industry in China.However,the low level of walnut processing especially the shell breaking technology,that limit the development of China's walnut processing industry at a certain extent.Under the support of the project of Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education.The main shell breaking principle of the machanical shell and the relevant mechanical machanism of walnut shell breaking has been analyzed and studied.And then explores the shelling effect of some equipment.Based on the experience of previous generations,A brand new multi-point extruded walnut shell breaking device has been designed that which can improve the integrated shell-breaking capacity of walnut shell-breaking equipment,This project offer a new choice for improving the shell-breaking performance and promoting the industrial of walnut processing.The tasks of this article mainly cover the following contents:(1)The mechanism of shell breaking of walnuts has been sorted out,and this equipment has been investigated and analyzed.The advantages and disadvantages of different broken shell equipment and broken shell has been summarized.In the end,the extruded shattered shell in the mechanically broken shell was selected as the design theory for the shell-breaking equipment.(2)Local walnuts in Shaanxi Province hahave been selected to conduct research on relevant physical properties.The relevant data such as shell dimensions,shell thickness,and shell-to-shell gap have been collected,based on which a threedimensional model was created with the use of the Solidworks three-dimensional software.Based on the thin shell theory and the Hertz theory,the fracture mechanism was analyzed and compared using ANSYS software.(3)The mechanical mechanism of cracking of walnut shells has been studied.Combined with the relevant knowledge of mechanics,the overall design of the multi-point extruded walnut shell breaking equipment was determined,and the single fruit feeding system and extrusion shelling were determined.The structural design of the mechanism and the discharging device was carried out.To improve the integrity of the design,the structural mechanics analysis and related optimization analysis were performed on the key components.(4)The kinematic and dynamic characteristics of the relevant transmission components in theshell-breaking equipment were studied.With the help of Solidworks the three-dimensional modeling of the walnut shell crusher was completed.The cranking pushing mechanism in the single feeding system and the extruded multi-link composite componet have been studied based on the kinematics theory.And some characteristic has been measured based on the Adams simulation software.And then get the displacement/velocity/acceleration-time images of the key components.(5)According to the design of the overall plan of the shell crusher,a broken shell test bed was designed for a single broken shell station.The number of extrusion points,shell breaking rate and broken shell stroke were set as the main factors affecting the test results,and he broken shell rate,the whole kernel rate and high dew kernel rate,acquired after the finish of the shell,were chosed as the basis for scoring.Firstly,single-factor tests were conducted.Then,an optimal working parameter combination which improves the working performance of the equipment was obtained,based on the influence of related parameters,and combined with the design of the design table to design a new orthogonal experiment.Two different forms of shell-breaking machanisms that include extrusion cracking and contact rupture have been studied and analyzed.Based on this,a new type of multi-point extruded walnut shell breaking equipment was designed by comparing with the existing shell-breaking equipment.The key components and transmission system were analyzed and improved by combining finite element and multi-body dynamic theory.And finally determine the best process parameters of the equipment through some experimental studies.
