The Study On The Application Of Imperfect Beauty In The Fashion Design Of Rei Kawakubo

Since the 1970 s,Japanese fashion design has had an important influence on the concept of clothing aesthetics in fashion world.Some Japanese fashion designers,injected in the fashion design in the west it seems mysterious traditional Japanese aesthetic elements,making their design in rebellion against the traditional western aesthetic concept of dress at the same time,and formed the unique characteristics of the traditional Japanese culture fashion design and concept.Rei Kawakubo in the global fashion is more representative of the Japanese fashion designer,one of her design style and concept is a controversial and revolutionary,and thus changed the fashion granted with the notions of beauty,body,and fashion.In the traditional aesthetic consciousness of Japan,the beauty of imperfect is a more typical phenomenon,which shows a certain degree in the costume design of Rei Kawakubo.Begin from Japanese traditional aesthetics,this paper analyses the defects originated in the evolution of beauty,as the breakthrough point,to explore in Japan under the dual influence of traditional aesthetics and western contemporary aesthetics,the imperfect beauty and Rei Kawakubo and the impact of the correlation of costume design and combine to Rei Kawakubo personal experiences and the clothing work in-depth,and Rei Kawakubo's design concepts and design methods in the clothing design of the study,to confirm from Rei Kawakubo's fashion design in the imperfect beauty of representative views on the expression of beauty,as in Rei Kawakubo's fashion design of appreciation and research provides new ideas and new point of view,and provide theoretical basis for related garment design and the research methods.
