For the characteristics of bituminous coal with low metamorphism,high oxygen content,poor hydrophobicity,low coal yield,and difficulty in flotation upgrading,the non-stick coals from the Hongliu Coal Preparation Plant in Ningdong Mining Area are targeted.Research were conducted on the separation and analysis of commonly used collectors of low-rank bituminous coal.First of all,the surface properties of coal samples were analyzed.Industrial analysis and elemental analysis were used to conclude that coal mainly contained C,H,O and other elements;Using FT-IR analysis,XRD diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,low-rank coals contain oxygen-containing functional groups such as-OH,-COO-,-O-,and-C=O;The contact angles test and Zeta potential analysis showed that the contact angle was 39.3°and the Zeta potential was-16.89mV,indicating that the coal surface was less hydrophobic.Secondly,using gas chromatography technology to separate the collector components,the composition of the B collector is mainly C14C18 compounds.The content of C16H22O4 is the highest,as high as 10.46%.There are double bonds and aromatic rings,and C=O;The composition of C collectors is mainly composed of C13C15 compounds.The effective area of C16H32O2 is 27.07%,and the content is the largest.There are two groups-COOH and-OH in the molecular structure.By investigating the amount of additives and the temperature of the formulation,it was concluded that lauric acid diethanolamide was the best additive with an amount of 1:15 and the preparation temperature was 40°C.Finally,through the flotation condition test,lauric acid diethanolamide was added to the C collector.The three factors of mixing time,aeration and stirring intensity were investigated to obtain the best flotation conditions:the stirring intensity was 2100 r/min,stirring time is 5 min and the aeration rate is 2.4 m3/h,the coal yield is 48.97%,and the combustible recovery rate is 63.04%.In this paper,by analyzing the components of the collector,the modification and optimization of the surfactant were carried out to improve the yield of the clean coal in the flotation of low-rank bituminous coal.This has played a catalytic role in the research and development of new pharmaceutical agents.
