As the numerical control processing technology and computer technology are widely used in the field of special shaped stone processing,the numerical control engraving machine has provided new technological means for stone engraving.Currently,application of the diamond cutter is still an existing problem in the field of numerical control engraving technology.Therefore,whether the diamond cutter can give full play to its milling effect or not has great influences on processing efficiency and cost,and the durability of the diamond cutter is a significant symbol to evaluate its milling cutter quality.Thus,it is of great importance to study frictional and wear properties of the diamond cutter.However,fewer studies are conducted domestically,which naturally causes slow development of stone engraving technologies.The status quo at home and abroad related to wear reliability are overviewed and the wear mechanism of diamond milling cutter is analyzed.The factors affecting the wear of milling cutter are determined.The customized electroplating diamond milling cutter is applied to EMCO Concept MILL 155 numerical control machine tool to cut American white linen granite for wear tests,including the wear single-factor test,the wear random test,and the wear uniform test.These test data provides test samples for forecast and verification of wear properties of the diamond milling cutter by establishment of neural network model.Based on analysis of the wear single-factor test data,the relation and change law between processing parameter and wear capacity of the diamond milling cutter are found.Based on analysis of wear uniform test data,the different roles of processing technological parameters on wear are found.Based on analysis of the wear random test data,it's proved that the process of granite cut by diamond milling cutter accords with classic wear process.In addition,a three-dimensional microscope is used to observe the flank and bottom of the diamond milling cutter to conduct an in-depth study on wear capacity of diamond milling cutter surfaces.BP neural network is applied to establishing a forecasting model to test wear capacity of the diamond milling cutter to mill granite.Wherein,the correlation function of MATLAB toolbox is called to implement network design and weight initialization,ascertain numbers of hidden layers,and train test samples of the neural network.Through contrastive analysis of the uniform test data and training result of neural network,the forecasting model is proved to be feasible.Combining with the established wear prediction model,the normal distribution of the wear test value is verified and the determination method of the membership function is analyzed,and the reliability calculation of the prediction value is carried out by using the fuzzy wear reliability calculation method.
