Study On Shen’s Boliao Technique In Fuzhou

This paper takes Fuzhou Shen’s Boliao technique and the application in lacquer art as the research object.Fuzhou lacquer Art in the history of Chinese lacquer art has a pivotal position,one of the great credit from the Shen Shaohan family.The Shen Shaohan family of Boliao and Bodiless lacquerware technology in the Qing dynasty,Shen’s family to Fuzhou Lacquer Arts,the largest contribution,from the Fuzhou lacquer ware from the bottom to color formed a complete system and unique technology.In the period of late Qing Dynasty to the Republic,Fuzhou gradually became China’s lacquer Arts Center.The appearance of the Boliao technique in the end of Qing Dynasty is the further advancement of the traditional Chinese metal painting technology.It is a major innovation to the traditional lacquer color,as one of the rare pigment in the lacquer art,with its unique expressive force.It still has far-reaching significance in the modern lacquer art creation.Therefore the thin material technique in the present inheritance and the transformation appears especially important.Based on the previous research,this paper through the literature and the investigation and interview of Fuzhou,the process of Shen’s Boliao is further supplemented and sorted out to inherit and protect the traditional technology,and summarize and comb the main application way of the technique of thin material in the end of Qing Dynasty to the modern painting.It provides the experience foundation for the individual lacquer art creation,and summarizes the developing rule of the application of the Boliao technique.According to this rule,from two aspects of materials and techniques launched a series of experiments to explore the "Boliao technique" in the present application of more forms and possibilities,to find Boliao techniques and their own creation of the point of agreement to promote their own creation,activation of traditional crafts.
