Although the infilling operations(integrative and local)were carried out repeatedly,the development mode of mixed injection and commingled production in layer systems are still applied in Shu-3 Block.In lateral,big differences occurred in development status,water out behavior and pressure maintenance.Especially in the well of Du-18,the behavior of water out was serious.New deployed wells and flood patterns of the secondary development were preliminary completed,however,the development effectiveness can not be improved just by water flooding.The development mode need to change urgently.Based on the updated data of drilling and logging,the reservoir heterogeneity descriptions in target stratum of polymer flooding are detailed in this paper.The connectives of sand body are carefully divided.The evaluation of water flooding employing is quantified.According to the laboratory test,numerical simulation and various geofactors(such as: reservoir heterogeneity,reservoir zonation,pore throat characteristic,pressure maintenance and sand producing tendency),injection interval,formulation and flooding parameters are designed typically.Finally,the pilot research on polymer flooding in Shu-3 was established,which contains 6 injection wells and 16 production wells.The expected EORis up to 10.3%.
