| The gas produced from oil well willreduce the pump efficiency of oil well pump,if the amount of the gas is large,even gas locking occurs.To increase theefficiency of the pump,we need to adopt downhole gas-liquid separation system to separate gas from liquid before the fluid goes into the pump.The efficiency of oil well pump has close relation with its structure.Therefore,increasing the efficiency of downhole separator by optimizing its structure has great significance in increasing oil well production and reducing energy consumption.We studied the separation structure and degassing principle of spiral separators and tested seven kinds of spiral gas-liquid separators with different sizes and analyzed the effects of spiral structure and operating parameters on the separation effect.At the same time,we combined the spiral gas-liquid separator with gravity settling gas-liquid separatorin different waysand tested whose separation efficiency is better than the other.The experimental result shows that parallel-connection spiral gas-liquid separator has better separation efficiency;it combines the advantages of the two separators,and overcomes the shortcomings of them when they were used alone.Underthe same conditions,the degassing efficiency of parallel-connection gas-liquid separator is always higher than that of series-connection separator,the highest separation efficiency can reach about 98%,which can effectively improve the efficiency of downhole gas-liquid separation. |
