Study On Corrosion Of Tank Botton Edge Plate

The botton edge of the tank can be connected to the tank foundation,due to the change of tank load and ambient temperature,large gaps will be formed between the bottom edge plate and the tank foundation.The deposition of corrosive media,such as rain water,around the edge plate can cause serious electrochemical corrosion,thereby reducing the useful life of the tank.Therefore,it is important to select the safe and reliable bottom edge panel anti-corrosion method to improve the service and safe operation of the storage tank.In order to solve this problem,this paper USES the epoxy coal tar,JDP waterproof material,CTPU elastic material and petrolatum belt material respectively in the three tank edge plate on the corrosion test,adopt the method of epoxy coal asphalt/bitumen anticorrosive after 2-3 years,most of anticorrosive coating disintegration,brittle;It was found that the anti-corrosion method of JDP anti-corrosion material was partially cracked and about 40% of the corrosion resistance in 2 to 3 years.After 2-3 years,the corrosion resistance of the anticorrosive layer was partially cracked and about 70% intact.After 2-3 years,the anticorrosive coating is in good appearance with slight hardening.Think petrolatum take in a wide temperature range plasticity,not hardening,will not break,the acid,alkali,salt and microorganisms have a strong resistance,and to water,steam and gas strong seepage prevention performance,the best anti-corrosion effect at the edge of the plate.After petrolatum belt material performance evaluation and on-site construction technology research,design reasonable technical scheme,finalized petrolatum with anti-corrosion construction technology is: protected surface treatment,primer coating to mineral cement filling,petrolatum tape laying and lateral protection tape laying to besmear to brush waterproof material.Finally brought petrolatum anticorrosion technology used in tank edge plate,buried pipeline corrosion and pipeline corrosion protection on the ground,solved the difficult problems in the construction,promote the development of edge plate of storage tank corrosion protection technology,tank design at the edge of the plate corrosion protection technology for the future provided valuable experience.
