Synthesis Formulation optimization and Performance Research of melamine copolymer modified phenolic resin,to further explore the melamine modified thermosetting resin,especially the application of phenolic resin,and the requirements to achieve energy saving and environmental protection and sustainable economic development,has very important significance.In this paper,the influence of the change of the amount of melamine on the structure and thermal properties of melamine modified phenolic resin adhesive(MPF)and its application were studied.Determination of the optimal formula of MPF resin was analyzed in a variety of relevant national standards;based on Fu Liye transform infrared spectroscopy tester(FT-IR)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)on the chemical structure of MPF resin may be characterized;were analyzed by using non isothermal differential scanning calorimetry the thermal properties of MPF resin.The main results of this paper are as follows:(1)Optimization of MPF resin modified by based on PF resin with higher bonding strength advantages,while its performance is better than that of PF resin,not only to achieve the national" A class plywood" requirements,but also extended the application period.Moreover,the cost price of MPF resin is lower than that of PF resin.The synthesis process of MPF resin is similar to that of PF resin.The physical and chemical properties of the resin are excellent,and its range of application is more extensive.(2)With the increase of the number of molecules of formaldehyde and melamine molecules,so the number of samples between the resin,hydroxyl methyl and methylene ether bonds these three kinds of resin cross-linking required functional groups increased,so that the main way of combining MPF resin for methylene bond and ether bond,and crosslinking degree of polymerization increases,but also from one that variation of the bonding strength of three triazine ring;increasing the absorption peak of FT-IR,illustrates the melamine molecules through chemical bonding,into the structure of MPF resin,also increased the strength of resin.And with the increase of molecular weight of melamine,melamine resin and crosslinking active group molecular system in the polymerization process consumes energy,and the impact on the resin curing system;with the increase of the molecular weight of the formaldehyde,MPF resin curing reaction of the more thoroughly,the structure is more complex network or chain formation resin molecules.
