Since the beginning of the twenty-first century,high-speed trains,subways and intercity trains are developing rapidly in our country.The rails are the main foundation of the trains,under high-speed movements,rail wear and the damage is easy to intensify.All kinds of damage is inevitable under the rail rolling contact of wheel and rail with a long time.Rail milling and grinding machine is a new kind of rail repair equipment and milling process is the most important core part of milling machine.Milling can remove the most of the machining allowance.It is directly related to the processing effect and working efficiency of milling and grinding vehicle.The research results will provide reliable theoretical guide to designer at the selection of milling cutter motor,the optimization of cutting tool angle and the study on cutter head milling removal mechanism.The main contents are as follows:(1)Based on the analysis of orthogonal experimental principles,using the multi-factor orthogonal regression experimental method and particle swarm optimization algorithm,the empirical formulas of temperature and milling force for high-manganese steel carbide milling is established.And the influences of the spindle speed,feed rate,the depth of cut and cutting width on the milling temperature and the milling force is studied,and then the empirical range of cutting parameters of milling high manganese steel is obtained.(2)Based on the milling temperature simulation model which established by AdvantEdge,the validity of the present results is proven by comparison the results of the finite element simulation and Empirical formula.For the convenience of finite element simulation,the influence of different tool angle parameters on milling temperature and milling force is analyzed to provide some reference for the structure design of cutter disc cutter.(3)Based on AdvantEdge simulation results,using the variance and the poor analysis of orthogonal experiment results and building angle cutter and cutting parameters as the input parameters and the milling force and milling temperature as the optimization goal,the milling parameters of steel rail material is optimized.And then the range of cutting parameters of milling high manganese steel is given,which provides the theory basis and application guidance for the optimization of cutting parameters of high manganese steel.(4)Using artificial K thermal couple to measured the cutting temperature between tool and working surface,the validity of the simulation results is proven by comparison the results of the finite element simulation and experimental results.The simulation model based on AdvantEdge is fully applicable to the analysis of the milling experiment of the rail material,which can greatly reduce the experimental cost and has great practical significance for the cutting simulation of the rail material.
