Mold industry is the basic industry in the present world and molding is an important process equipment of industrial production.People should pay more and more attention towards the development of mold industry.Mold can be used to produce the products whose value is many times expensive than the mold itself while using.Mold can easily produce a large number of valuable parts meeting the quality requirements,So the mold manufacturing technology can represent manufacturing level of a country.Based on the simulation of sheet metal drawing forming,this thesis presented a method to construct the precise mesh model of the edge ring.Through the sheet metal forming simulation,we can acquire the value of sheet metal grid node in the process of drawing sheet thickness change.On the basis of the calculating thickness of sheet metal grid nodes information through the structure of the interpolation curve,the grid mapping,the accurate calculation of thickness of the node value algorithm.For example,adjusting pressure rim profile grid node makes the clearance between the die and blank holder ring which is advantageous to the drawing process of sheet metal flow.In addition,the edge ring machining tool rail is adjusted based on the precise shape of the edge ring to make the mold manufacturing more precise.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1.Considering the thickness variation of the sheet material in the flanged area in the flow performance of the drawing sheet material process,based on the stress and strain state of flange part of the plate and action the edge of ring,the blank holder is divided into two parts of the sheet metal area and plate material matching area,and the basic ideas for the optimization in two parts are put forward.2.In the process of sheet metal stamping is simulated and analyzed.According to the thickness change on the plate grid node in the drawing process,the grid mapping and curve interpolation are used to construct the accurate mesh surface of the sheet metal flow area and the plate compacting zone,and then the accurate mesh model of the blank holder ring is constructed.3.The box shaped parts is an example of the accurate mesh model ofsheet metal flow area and plate compacting ring is constructed respectively,and the tool rail of NC machining of the grid model is offset.Through each circle with the original grid type and the precise grid type facing the same sheet of drawing simulation,it can be observed that the proposed method can get better forming effect in the process of sheet metal drawing.
