Fe-Ga alloy has the huge saturated magnetostriction(400ppm)under the low saturated magnetic field(2000e)and mechanical properties(500MPa).Fe-Ga alloy has a big potential on mechanical properties and has good advantages to broaden the application of magnetostrictive materials designed space in the field of smart structures.In the near future,more research focus mainly on the the preparation on orientation of rolling type Fe-Ga alloy,the acquisition of η in secondary recrystallization,but the large grain size will seriously damage material tenacity.So how to control the texture in the process of grain refinement is a key problem.In this study,Fe-Ga-B alloy sheet of good texture feature with thickness of 0.40~0.5mm was prepared through conventional rolling procedure which combined hot rolling,normalizing,cold rolling and annealing.(1)By controlling the factors,such as B content,grain size,cold rolling and annealing process,we realize the optimization of fine-grained Fe-Ga-B alloy recrystallization texture.(2)Primary recrystallization texture consists mainly of Goss({110}<001>)and y fiber changed from cold rolling texture dominated by y fiber(<111>//ND)and weak a fiber(<110>//RD).Early recrystallization,Goss oriented grain mainly nucleate in shear band Of two different texture({111}<110>and {111}<112>).Early nucleation orientation determines the final orientation of recrystallization structure.(3)This paper studied the different B content(0.1 at.%,1.Oat.%and 2.Oat.%)and initial grain size(30 μm and 120 μm)of the alloy effect on grain size and texture of recrystallization,which found that the sample with less(0.1at.%B)is more advantageous to form strong Goss and weak y,but it is unfavorable to the improvement of strength of materials.The sample with more B content(1.0at.%and 1.0at.%)formed strong Goss texture and weaker y,but obviously improved the strength of materials.Considering mechanical properties with magnetic scalability,The sample with 1 at.%is more appropriate.At the same time,the sample with the initial grain size 120μm is more advantageous to form strong Goss and weak y texture,but not conducive to control grain size uniformity in the end.
