The bioactive natural products derived from microorganism possessed novel chemical structure and uniqueactive mechanism,and they are the important sources of new drug development,especially antibiotics and antitumor drugs.The bioactive secondary metabolites from plants,especially the edible and medicinal plants,have the advantage of diverse structure type,biological activity and multi targets,nontoxic and low side effects and so on.The medicinal and edible plants play an important role in the human chronic diseasesprevention and treatment,and the development of health care products.In order to lookfor drug lead compounds and develop the characteristic medicinal resource in Northeast China,we investigated the secondary metabolism products of a strain Streptomyces niveus NRRL2466(T)(YIM32860)isolated from soil inNortheast forest and local edible Pimpinella brachycarpa.The strain fermented liquidextracted by ethyl acetate to obtain the EtOAc extraction.Useing chromatographic techniques,including Silica gel C.C,Sephadex LH-20 C.C,reversed-phase Silica gel C.C and HPLC,to separate the extract.According the physicochemical properties and spectral data analysis,the structure of 11 compounds wasidentified as nivelactam(1),Seco-GT32(2),GT32-A(3),GT32-B(4),Pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid(5),3-benzyl-2,5-piperazinedione(6),4',7-dihydroxyisoflavon(7),5,7,4'-trihydroxy-isoflavone(8),5-methyluracil(9)and cyclo(L-Val-L-Ala)(10).Stem and leaf part of Pimpinella brachycarpasoaked in 95%ethanol at room temperature for 3 days.Ethanol extraction was evaporated in vacuo and concentrated to2L.Successively,the concentratewas extracted by petroleum ether and ethyl acetate respectively.The two extracts were combined because of the similar components in these two portions from TLC analyses.Use chromatographic techniques,including Silica gel C.C,Sephadex LH-20 C.C,reversed-phase Silica gel C.C and HPLC to separate the crude extract.7 compounds were gotten.According the physicochemical properties and spectral data analysis,the structure of 7 compounds was identified as P-sitosterol(11),1,10-heptadecadiene-4,6-diyne-3,8,9-triol(12),terpenoids cassipourol(13),Falcarindiol(14),Daucosterol(15),panaxynol(16),(-)-a-terpineol-8-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(17).
