The thesis aims at the study on visible-light-promoted aerobic oxidation of primary amines.Visible light photocatalysis is a useful method with broad uses in total synthesis and drug modification due to its mild reaction conditions, easy operation and environmental benign. It's a green and economical protocol to accomplish oxygen-functionalization through the combination of photocatalysis and aerobic oxygenation.Amines are usually used as electron donors in photocatalysis.Tertiary amines are a kind of general substrates, and also there are a few reactions in which secondary amines are used as substrates. To the best of our knowledge, there are few report on visible light promoted reactions with primary amines because of the unstable imine intermediate. In this thesis, using 2-aryl cyclohexyl amines as the substrate,we developed a visible-light-promoted aerobic oxidation of primary amines, through which we accomplished C-C bond oxidation and synthesized a series of ?-oxo acids. To figure out the mechanism we designed a number of intermediates and mechanistic experiments. At last,by varying the light source and solvent,we developed a visible-light-promoted aerobic oxidation of primary amines to synthesize a series of?-oxo lactones. We also proposed the mechanism which was proved by mechanistic experiments.
