Limestone(lime)/gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization system is the mainstream technology of desulfurization system in power plant in China at present.The reliable operation of the slurry circulating pump as the core components of the system would keep the stability of the whole system.The working environment of slurry circulating pump is very bad,the interaction of corrosion,erosion and cavitation makes its service life be very short,and full metal impeller life is generally only about a year.Compared with protective countermeasures at present mainly,the application of ceramic pump to is considered to be the optimal solution to help solve the wear of slurry pump impeller.This kind of material is mainly composed of filler,matrix and other auxiliaries,as polymer matrix wear resistant composite material.Filler is composed of main wear resistant filler(SiC)and assisted modified fillers(Al2O3 and SiO2).Matrix is mixed system of epoxy resin and curing agent.Other additives include coupling agent,toughening agent,thixotropic agent and diluent.Through a certain process,combined with the specific device,the composite can be prepared in laboratory.The wear index:Strength,modulus and hardness of the composite material,is determined under the analysis of the failure mechanism of slurry pump,which is the interaction of low angle of erosion wear and cavitation.Based on previous studies,the factors influencing the performances of composite is determined:1 the aspects of modeling process:auxiliaries and process parmeters;2 the aspects of reinforcement:particle size,particle graduation,the mixing way of particle,the filler content;the optimal formula of wear-resisting material was determined by experiments,and the rule of composite performance varying with these factors were studied.There are some conclusions:1 Under the condition of high temperature curing,a type of high temperature curing agent HF160 should be used,and the diluent should not be used,because it will decrease strength and wear rate of the materials.The optimum content of curing agent,toughening agent,coupling agent respectively is 38%,5%,6%of matrix resin.2 the performance of material will be best if using five grading particle.The addition of Al2O3 can promote the liquidity of slurry with high solid content,which can help to develop the particulate loading,but will decrease the strength of composites.Comprehensive consideration of materials processing and performance,the appropriate ratio of A1203/SiC is 0.16.3 In conclusion,the experimental scheme and processing parameters are got which can make the wear resistance of composite be best.The optimal proportion:PTEE:KH550:PU:SiC/Al2O3/Si2:HF160=10.74%:0.64%:0.54%:72.16%/11.54%/0.3%:4.08%.And the best reaction temperature of toughening agent and the resin is 100 ?,the best vacuum temperature is 110?.At the time,the bending strength of the composite is 67 MPa,the Vickers hardness is 74.5 GPa.
