Rapid Design And Auto-generation Of Female Coat Pattern Based On CAD Technology

With the globalization of economy,the clothing enterprises are facing increasingly intense competition in the market.It is the urgent problem of the most garment enterprises that how to meet the customer’s demand and improve the clothing production efficiency.Since inception,the garment CAD has attracted much attention in the garment industry.For decades,it’s obvious that clothing enterprises benefit a lot from the garment CAD.However,the existing garment CAD system using a man-machine interactive playing board,due to lack of flexibility,it’s difficult to show the advantages of computer aided design,thus work efficiency hasn’t been fundamentally improved.Rapid design and auto-generation of the apparel pattern have been the research directions,and the revolution of garment CAD technologies,provides excellent software support to the breakthrough of which,and make it possible to input the experts’ knowledge,and the auto-generation of the apparel pattern.The paper includes the various style research,classification analysis,the extraction of structure factors,the parametric design,design of the pattern template of the body shape,the sleeves,and the collar,and the independent operations of pattern template with the changing parameters.And finally,the combination running experiments of pattern template testified the route of the running operations,the pattern template design and the fitness of the pattern design for the style.The paper is consist of four parts,including the collection and classification of female coats,the parametric design,pattern template of clothing parts,and the combination running experiments of template and the corresponding wearing experiments.Firstly,collect nearly 9282 of the female coat,and classify to three parts,such as the body shape(H,X,A,O),the collar(no collar,standing collar,turndown collar),the sleeves(round loaded sleeves,raglan sleeves,one-piece sleeves);Resulting from the classification,establish the pattern template library of the H and O body shape,the X body shape,the A body shape,the one straight sleeve,the one bending sleeve,the two bending sleeve,the no collar,the single collar,the turnover collar,the split collar,the peak lapel collar,the shawl collar in the Modasoft 11.6 system platform.With the running operations of garment CAD pattern template library with changing parameters,some tiny adjustments were made to confirm the template path logic and the perfect applicability of template.Finally,through wearing experiments of 21 typical styles covering various body shape,inner structures,various collars and sleeves,and also different body type,the reasonableness and efficiency of the templates running operations can be testified.The study is to achieve the auto-generation of the female coat pattern of different styles,reduce the dependence of pattern design for the technical abilities and improve the pattern-making efficiency obviously.It provides reliable research basis and accumulation for the sustainable research of rapid design and auto-generation of garment pattern,and the technology promotion.
