| The amorphous alloy has a special organizational structure,therefore it has many excellent physical properties(high hardness,strength,wear resistance,etc)and chemical properties(corrosion resistance,hydrogen storage,etc).But because of the high cost and the low efficiency in its prepared process,the amorphous alloy is limited in many application.As researches in the performance of the amorphous alloy made a lot of achievements,it turn to important in the study of non-transient prepared amorphous alloy.Firstly,regarding to Zr55Al10Ni5Cu30 mother alloy which were prepared in the continuous casting process,we carried out a study about the compositional uniformity as well as the generation of secondary pollution,the study demonstrated that the alloy which were smelt two or three times can be mixed sufficiently and the smelting frequency can increase the impurity content.In order to guide the continuous preparation of amorphous alloys,we have conducted a preliminary study on the property of the Zr55Al10Ni5Cu30.Alloy samples of Zr55Al10Ni5Cu30 were prepared by graphite crucible casting method and the industrial purity of the raw materials be placed in vacuum induction melting furnace.The samples were investigated by metallography,X-ray diffraction and micro-hardness testing;we discussed the effects of purity of raw materials,the superheat and the cooling rate on the properties of amorphous alloy.The results show that a good performance of the amorphous alloy can be prepared by the industrial grade materials,the Zr55Al10Ni5Cu30 formed in a low cooling rate of amorphous alloy have a relatively high hardness,and appropriate increase the superheat can reduce the formation of crystallites.Based on the study of the effects on the amorphous alloy of thermodynamic parameters and the existing research of our laboratory,the numerical simulation of Zr55Al10Ni5Cu30 amorphous alloy prepared in continuous casting is studied by simulation software of numerical simulation software.Combined with the characteristic of our continuous casting machine and the material properties of Zr55Al10Ni5Cu30 amorphous alloy,the convective heat transfer coefficient and the finite element analysis model are established.The effect of different control parameters in the temperature field and flow field were analyzed.The simulation results show that the process parameters such as pulling speed,melt temperature,cooling distance have a great influence on the temperature field and the quality of the sample in the amorphous alloy continuous casting process.Under the guidance of the numerical simulation,amorphous alloy were prepared through continuous preparation method and were analyzed. |
