This paper adopts potted method,with setting up different concentrations Zn2+,Pb2+,Studying the effect of physio-biochemical characteristics and yield of kenaf under single and combined pollution of Pb and Zn.The results were as follows:1.Pb single treatment,chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,total chlorophyll decreased with the increasing concentration of Pb2+,on the seeding stage,.there was no significant difference compared with control while significantly higher than control on boom stage;N content of kenaf decreased with the increasing concentration of Pb2+,N content of kenaf in the stem and leaf on boom stage and N content in the root on mature were significantly higher than control.;P content of root and stem on seeding stage showed increased at first and then decreased while P content of leaf decreased with the increasing concentration of Pb2+;K content of kenaf decreased with the increasing concentration of Pb2+while Pb2+content increased with the increasing concentration of Pb2+.2.Zn single treatment,when the concentration was 100 mg/kg,chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,total chlorophyll and dry matter there were no significant difference with control,when Zn?500 mg/kg,were significantly lower than the control,.N content of kenaf decreased with the increasing concentration of Zn2+on seeding and mature stage while N content in the root and stem on boom stage increased with the increasing concentration of Zn2+;K content of kenaf decreased with the increasing concentration of Zn2+;Zn2+of content in the leave and stem increased with the increasing concentration of Zn2+,but decreased sharply as Zn treatment concentration increased beyond 500mg/kg.3.Under the Pb and Zn combined pollution,chlorophyll synthesis,and the N?P?K content of kenaf were lower than the control,When Pb2+= 800 mg/kg,content of Pb2+ in the root increased with the increasing concentration of Zn2+ in seedling stage;Zn2+ can increase the absorption of Pb2+ in the stem on boom stage while no affection on the absorption of Pb2+ in leaf in seeding stage and mature stage.Under the same level of Zn2+,Zn2+?500 mg/kg,Pb2+ can increase the absorption of Zn2+ in the root system on seeding stage but decrease absorption of Zn2+ in the root system.on mature stage.To sum up,except 100 mg/kg Zn single treatment had no affection on growth of kenaf,the rest of the treatment can inhibit the growth of kenaf.
