Propylene is an important chemical raw materials,catalytic cracking for propylene is the mai n solution for increasing the benefit of refinery by its low cost and effectivity.Lanzhou Petrochemi cal Industrial Company builds the world's highest capacity industrial unit forpolypropene producti on,with 300000 tons for a single set.In the light of increasing propylene demands,yield of propyl ene in catalytic cracking reactions needs more than 10.5%,but the yield of propylene with LCC-1 catalyst is only about 8%.In order to meet user's demands,Lanzhou Petrochemical Research Insti tute developed LCC2 type catalyst for promoting propylene yield in a short period of time,the pro duction evaluation results shows that:the propene yield exceeds 11%,with ideal product distributi on and higher octane value,the relevant technical index reaches the level of similar foreign catalys t,shows great commercial prospect.
