At present,sodium jarosite method was used to recover the nickel and copper of iron residue.However,the resulting iron sodium jarosite residue still contains a certain amount of nickel and copper,which residue must be returned to the part of the nickel pyrometallurgical system,which not only increases the production cost of processing,but also seriously affect the capacity of nickel pyrometallurgical system.It is necessary to develop one kind of new technic,which iron residue can be resourceful treatment,and then nickel?copper and iron can be comprehensive recovered.In this study,Leaching nickel electrolytic iron residue by hydrochloric acid concentration 50%,leaching temperature room,leaching period 5min,hydrochloric acid amount 0.8 times the theoretical amount,liquid-solid ratio 2.9:1,nickel and copper leaching rate both reached more than 99%.Extraction of iron in nickel electrolytic iron residue leaching liquor by using N235,controlling the ratio of N235 isooctanol and kerosene is 30:15:55,extraction phase ratio 1.5:1,loaded organic extract lotion acidity 0.5mol/L,scrub phase ratio 8:1,stripping phase ratio 3:1,stripping lotion acidity 0.1mol/L,extraction stages 11.Under this condition,the content of iron in the raffinate is less than 0.01g/L.The main component of stripping lotion is ferric chloride,wherein the iron content is reached 40g/L or more,and the nickel and copper content of less than 0.01 g/L.Iron ore concentrate can be produced by spray pyrolysis method,Controlling pyrolysis temperature 750? pyrolysis time 60min.The iron in iron ore grade to 61.5%,and sulfur content of less than 0.2%,its chemical composition fully meet the iron industry on the chemical composition of the iron ore requirements.XRD analysis showed that the main component of the iron ore concentrate is Fe3O4.The actual cost of laboratory study can not be accurately budget,according to the actual production experience,estimating the extractant consumption are 3Kg/ton of ore,kerosene are 8Kg/ton of ore,processing fees 180 yuan/ton of ore and most of the hydrochloric acid can be recycled,so hydrochloric acid consumption is expected to 0.5t/ton of ore,processing fees is 300 yuan/ton of ore.Spray pyrolysis processing fees is estimated to be 3200 yuan/ton of ore.Thus,the use of new technology processing iron residue is not higher than 500 yuan/ton of iron powder.To sum up,the new technology for treatment of nickel electrolytic iron residue is feasible,and has good economic benefit.
