Biomass fiber as a new type of green fiber has an advantage of biodegradable,nontoxic and pollution-free in production process.It is the important development direction to realize synthetic fiber raw material substitution,and has great development potential.Development of new biomass fibers is requirement for solving the resources crisis,and realizing low-carbon economy.The sodium alginate/Antarctic Krill protein?SA/AKP?composite fiber has been prepared successfully.The rheological properties,spinnability and molecular interaction force were studied in detail.The composite mechanism of two kinds of biomass materials was discussed.Meanwhile,not only chemical composition,crystal structure,surface and cross-section morology were characterized but also flame retardant properties,dyeing properties,swelling properties,mechanical properties and thermal stability performance of composite fiber were studied in this paper.To achieve the requirement of high strength of SA/AKP fiber,high strength the Antarctic krill protein/sodium alginate composite fiber?HAS/AKP?was prepared successful by adding glutaraldehyde in the system.The crosslinking mechanism of enhance strength properties was analyzed,the mechanical properties and moisture absorption performance of the fiber after crosslinking are also studied.Sodium alginate modification was implemented on preliminary experimental exploration through act acrylonitrile as the hydropHobic modified monomers by free radical graft copolymerization.The results showed that:?1?Hydrogen bond was formed in the SA/AKP composite system,and hydrogen bond intension associated with the construction of the complex system and system PH value.The intermolecular hydrogen bond was increase with the increase of AKP content rise.The pH value increase,intramolecular hydrogen bond content increases,the crystallization properties of SA/AKP composite was increase,heat resistance was poor.?2?SA/AKP composites have ability to crystallize.The surface of composite fiber shows uniform groove microstructure and the cross section presents round or oval.Good flame retardant performance was shown?LOI=39?and have a good dyeing properties by dyeing rate of 95.71%.Fiber moisture absorption is serious during the forming process?swelling degree is 356.3%?.?3?The optimum processing condition of the SA/AK composite fiber is as follow:the SA mass concentration is 3%,the AKP is 30 parts by weight,spinning temperature is around 80oC,CaCl2 mass concentration is 5%,the coagulation time is 3.5 min.The breaking strength of the fiber is around 2.58 CN/dtex.?4?The glutaraldehyde has effectively enhance the mechanical properties of fiber.Composite fiber was increased significantly by 13.7%under the 5%CaCl2,40?,stretching 1.5 times.The moisture absorption performance of composite fiber was decreased.?5?The acrylonitrile graft modification significantly improved the hydropHobic properties of sodium alginate,surface morpHology of graft copolymer is globular micro-structure.The only one glass transition temperature was found through the dynamic mechanical properties test.Its mechanical loss located between polyacrylonitrile and sodium alginate.Graft copolymer has good film-forming properties.
