Along with the development of national economy,Iron and steel logistics enterprises have developed fastly,the competition between the steel logistics industry becomes more fierce.The traditional warehouse management system,customer information system and other computer application systems cannot meet the needs of the iron and steel industry,not give the iron and steel logistics enterprise innovation value.Therefore,the iron and steel logistics enterprises urgently need to establish a set of business intelligence system based on the customer as the center and the decision-making management to provide timely,accurate and scientific decision-making basis for the managers and marketers to promote the healthy and sustainable development of enterprises.This paper studies the steel logistics enterprise business intelligence system.And analyzed the disadvantages of adopting commercial software,provided a solution for the business intelligence based on the open source Pentaho in the warehouse management system.The main contents of this paper are as follows :(1)The pentaho BI platform workflow engine for local scheduling component interface was exposed in the form of web service,and combined the socket package used XML as the format of data transmission of data transmission pipes,providing a set of feasible system integration mechanism for pentaho BI.It provided a feasible solution for BI Pentaho platform to realize the seamless integration of bus iness intelligence components to enterprise business process and to provide a feasible solution for the existing system and legacy system of the enterprise.(2)Designed a distributed parallel ETL framework.Through research ing the traditional ETL framework found that the traditional ETL architecture has the low execution efficiency,the extraction bus pressure,the conversion feature,which may become the bottleneck.In order to solve these problems,this paper designs a feasible distributed parallel ETL framework based on distributed technology,multi thread technology and parallel data conversion technology.(3)Based on the above research,designed the steel logistics enterprise business intelligence system,including the structure design,the overall function design,data model design,and developed the steel logistics business intelligence information system based on pentaho.Finally,analyzed the steel stocks subject field,can effectively make use of the iron and steel logistics enterprise warehouse m anagement system of a large number of historical data,for the enterprise decision-making layer provide decision-making knowledge.The system finally applied to a steel logistics enterprise,which providing good support for the enterprise's decision.This paper provides a reference for other industries to implement business intelligence and has practical value for the pentaho system integration mechanism and distributed parallel ETL research of other enterprises to build business intelligence system.
