Ilex hainanensis Merr is made by the dried leaves of Holly plants Hainan Holly.Hainan Holly is belong to Ilex,mainly grows in Guangxi,Yunnan,Hainan and some other places.It is a kind of evergreen plants,which is a wealth of plant resources.It can fall blood pressure,blood sugar,blood hematic and other curative effect.It as a of kind of antihypertensive drug,has been widely used in southwest of China.Predecessors has studied the chemical composition,animal experiments and clinical experiments of the Ilex hainanensis Merr,In order to further perfect the study on Ilex hainanensis Merr,this article has carried on the five aspects to Ilex hainanensis Merr.1.Researching the Ilex hainanensis Merr chemical composition of different polarity parts,Preliminary conclusion show that some composition,They are flavonoids,anthraquinone,phenols,lactones,coumadin,tannins,steroids,terpenoids,sugars,alkaloids,organic acids,volatile oil,amino acids,multi-glucoside.2.By HPLC researching the flavonoids aglycone of the Ilex hainanensis Merr,It contains quercetin,kaempferol,Their contents are 0.042%、0.013%in the leaves of Ilex hainanensis Merr;their contents of Ilex hainanensis Merr of ethanol extract are 0.22%、0.17%;their contents of Ilex hainaensis Merr of refined flavonoids are 1.17%、0.22%.3.By studying the antioxidant activity of the leaves,ethanol extract,refined flavonoids of Ilex hainanensis Merr,refined sample in free DPPH radical clearance rate and the total reducing power is superior to the crude sample.In terns of DPPH radical scavenging,the mass concentration of refined sample is better than the synthetic antioxidant butylated hydroxytoluene;In terms of total reducing capacity,the mass concentration of the synthetic antioxidant butylated hydroxytoluene is better than the refined sample.4.Using a method of HPLC to test the ursolic acid content of Ilex hainanensis Merr,Design orthogonal experiment to the ethanol concentration,solid-liquid ratio,ultrasonic time,ultrasonic power four factors of ursolic acid extraction yield was investigated,the influence of determine the optimal extraction process,raw material with 15 times the amount of 95%ethanol ultrasonic extract 1 h,ultrasonic power is 150 W,the yield of ursolic acid is 0.9351%.5.Using silica gel column chromatography and TLC method to the petroleum ether and ethyl acetate extract of Ilex hainanensis Merr for separation,and the isolate further purification.Then,we use the physical and chemical properties,nuclear magnetic measurement method to detectionnine compounds,nine compounds were identified as kaempferol(1),β-amyrone(2),2-(caffeoyloxy)methyl-l-butene-3,4-diol(3),(+)-olivil(4),rutin(5),ursolic acid(6),quercetin(7),daidzein(8),β-boswellic(9).
