The development and utilization of geothermal water in the middle part of Yanshan Mountain in Eastern Hebei Province has a long history, but the way to utilize these resources are not very efficient. With the development of society and economy, the demand for clean energy is increasing.Unreasonable and disorderly development and utilization will not only cause waste of resources, but also easily lead to series environmental problems such as environmental pollution and geological disasters. To study the hydrogeochemical characteristics of geothermal water is of great significance for the rational development and utilization of geothermal water, avoiding or reducing the impact on the environment, and ensuring the maximum sustainable exploitation of geothermal resources. The results show that:the geothermal anomaly area in the middle part of Yanshan Mountain in Eastern Hebei Province is mainly distributed at the edge of xiaoyingzi rock body, and the distribution, migration and storage of geothermal fluid are controlled by fault structure;the rock property of thermal reservoir is gneiss or granite, basically without caprock;geothermal water belongs to medium low temperature and weak alkaline water;most of it belongs to fresh water;the geothermal anomaly area of Wenquan village belongs to brackish water, and the mineralization degree of underground hot water is obviously high The chemical types of underground cold water and underground hot water are quite different. The underground cold water is HCO3?SO4-ca?mg type, and the underground hot water is SO4-Na type. There is a strong positive correlation between the content of F-and Si O2 and the water temperature. At the same time, the mass concentration of F-and Si O2 is strictly controlled by the geothermal field, which also reflects the structure of the geothermal water rich in F-and Si O2 from the deep part of the crust along the abnormal area According to the coefficient of??CL?/??BR?and R?NA?/R?CL?.The groundwater in this area falls into the category of the continental sedimentary water of solution filtrate water of rock salt stratum. The isotope results show that the geothermal fluid is originated from the precipitation.Depth of the energy storage range from 2800m–3200m.The age of the water is between 12.3 and 27.8a;The chemistry of the groundwater flow is mainly controlled by Xiaoying sub-system.The heat in the water comes form the deep earth shell. The comprehensive analysis of water quality shows that fluorine and metasilicic acid in the geothermal water in this area meet the concentration standard of named mineral water, which are fluorine water and silicon water.Except for the geothermal well in Wenquan village of xiaoyingzi Town, the mineralization degree of all underground hot water is less than 1000mg/L,which is fresh water. The contents of Ba,Sr,Zn,Mo and other trace elements in geothermal water are relatively high, and many of them meet the boundary indicators of"drinking natural mineral water standard"The fluoride content in the hot water exceeds the limit of relevant standards, generally 4-6 times higher. Therefore, the underground hot water in this area can not be used as drinking mineral water source, not suitable for farmland irrigation and fishery production, nor suitable for industrial boiler water.According to the temperature and hydrochemical characteristics of geothermal water, the water temperature in bianzhangzi abnormal area is lower, which is suitable for breeding tropical fish;louzhangzi and Wenquan village are rich in geothermal resources, which can be used for heating, bathing, recuperation, breeding, seedling raising and vegetable planting in winter. In the process of utilization, the geothermal tail water needs to be treated to reduce the mineral content in the water before it can be discharged into the surrounding environment. At the same time,it is necessary to make unified planning, save water and make comprehensive utilization,so as to achieve the goal of protecting geothermal resources.
