Indoor soil test is the most commonly used method to obtain the design parameters according to the detailed operating rules and the special instruments.In-situ test is an in-situ test conducted in the formation without taking soil samples,using specific instruments and equipment.In-situ testing method can not only directly determine some geotechnical parameters,but also indirectly obtain other parameters through correlation analysis to obtain empirical formulas or data comparison tables,however,this empirical formula or comparison table is closely related to the soil in different areas,different sedimentary environments and different lithologies,and is not easy to be copied mechanically.In addition,because a required experimental condition is not easy to achieve,or although through special equipment and special technology can be obtained parameters,but the test cost is relatively high,the time required is longer,because of the contradiction between the economic rationality and the time limit of the project,it is the research direction for many researchers to use the convenient and economical test results and get the corresponding parameters through the empirical formula.Panjin Liaobin area is located in the northern part of Bohai Sea Liaodong Bay,the Right Bank of the Great Liaohe River before it turns into the sea.The topography of the Estuary Delta of the Liaohe Plain is 3 ? 4m in elevation,and the surface lithology is mainly alluvial silt and silty clay.The surface of the reclamation area is artificial dredger fill and plain fill.The Liaoning Institute of Engineering Investigation and design has carried out a large number of geotechnical engineering investigation projects in Panjin Liaobin area,and obtained a large number of indoor geotechnical test data and in-situ test(mainly standard penetration test)results,based on these data and results,the correlation between the physical and mechanical indexes of the indoor test and the in-situ test data(mainly the number of hammer blows in the standard penetration test)is summarized,it will bring great convenience,reduce cost and improveefficiency to the geotechnical engineering survey sampling and testing work in this area and similar geological condition area.In this paper,the physical and mechanical parameters of Quaternary silty soil,silty clay and clay layer,and the results of standard penetration test are taken as samples by using data regression analysis method,a LINEAR regression equation between the parameters of Pore ratio and Standard Penetration Test Hammer number,pore ratio and water content,moisture density and Standard Penetration Test Hammer number,moisture density and water content,compression modulus and Standard Penetration Test Hammer number,shear strength index cohesion C and Standard Penetration Test Hammer number,shear strength index internal friction angle and standard penetration test hammer number,compression modulus and liquid property index,compression modulus and wet density,compression modulus and water content,Shear Strength Index Cohesion C and Water Content,Shear Strength Index internal friction angle and water content was established,through the correlation test,the correlation was significant.Using the formula to calculate and verify the index,the effect is ideal,and the anticipated aim has been achieved.
