Geological Characteristics And Potential Of Baijiadian Barite Deposit In Wenshang,Shandong

Baijiadian Barite Mine is located 15 km northeast of Wenshang County,Luxi.The barite ore body has been discovered through preliminary exploration work,however,its mineralization law and resource potential are still unclear.This article is based on a comprehensive analysis of existing data,study the basic characteristics of the deposit,clarify its temporal and spatial distribution characteristics,analyze its genesis and mineralization rules,point out the prospecting direction.In view of this,the main achievements and understandings of this thesis are as follows:By analyzing various data such as regional geology,regional minerals,regional gravity and magnetic field characteristics,and regional geochemical characteristics,the geological background of barite mineralization in the Baijiadian mining area in Wenshang County has been sorted out,the geological conditions of regional barite mineralization were studied.Based on the research on the spatial distribution of ore bodies and the spatial position relationship between ore bodies and strata,summarized the mineralization law of barite in the study area,and the analysis is based on the ore-forming age and ore-bearing horizon The reasons for mineralization are summarized,and the rules of mineralization and signs of prospecting are summarized.Summarized the exploration signs of the study area from basic geological features and geophysical anomaly features,etc.Investigate the geological conditions,ore-bearing characteristics and ore quality of the barite deposit in Wenshang County,and study its causes.Predicted mineralization in the study area,analyzed the mineralization potential,and pointed out the direction of exploration,it has guiding significance for the future exploration of barite deposits in this area and similar areas.
