This article uses lightning location data,encrypted automatic station data to automatically identify thunderstorm and gale weather,combined with reanalysis data and Doppler weather radar products to compare and analyze the characteristics of 87 cases of three types of cold vortex thunderstorm gale in Liaoning from 2012-2018.The key physical quantity environmental parameters and radar echo product characteristics of cold vortex thunderstorm gale in Liaoning Province are studied.The results show that:(1)The high incidence period of cold vortex thunderstorm gale is in June,and there is an obvious diurnal variation.It is not easy for multi-cell cold vortex thunderstorm gale to occur before noon.The linear cold vortex thunderstorm gale has the longest duration(4.8h)and the largest influence range(22 stations).There are three high-prone areas for cold vortex thunderstorm strong winds.The north-eastern Liaoning Province,Tieling to Panjin and the northern coastal areas of the Bohai Bay are high-prone areas.45% of cold vortex thunderstorm strong winds are generated locally,of which single thunderstorm strong winds account for the most.Among non-locally generated cold vortex thunderstorm strong winds,linear thunderstorm strong winds are the most,mainly due to the northwestern path affecting Liaoning.(2)Liaoning cold vortex thunderstorm strong winds are prone to occur in unstable environments.The three types of cold vortex thunderstorm strong winds have small differences in convective instability energy.Linear cold vortex thunderstorm strong winds are more likely to cause failure when the convection suppression energy is less than 50J·kg-1 Stable energy accumulation.The dynamic conditions of cold vortex thunderstorm gale in spring and autumn are better,and linear thunderstorm gale is the strongest.The thunderstorm gale forecast index(CS)established by convective effective potential energy(CAPE)and vertical wind shear(Shear)can distinguish linear thunderstorm gale from single and multi-cell thunderstorm gale;atmospheric precipitation can distinguish multi-cell Thunderstorm gale with single,linear cold vortex.(3)Comprehensive analysis of the configuration of the thermal,power and water vapor conditions of the cold vortex thunderstorm gale.The thermal conditions are the necessary conditions for the occurrence of the cold vortex thunderstorm gale.The power and water vapor conditions are the main factors affecting the cold vortex thunderstorm gale.Is important.The focus of forecasting thunderstorm gale in different months is slightly different.In June,the main focus is on dynamic conditions,of which the amount of atmospheric precipitation can be more important for the production of multi-cell thunderstorm gale;the main focus in July is on water vapor conditions,while for the single cold vortex In thunderstorm gale,the dynamic conditions are still very important;in August,the focus is on thermal conditions,which also plays a great role in the vertical wind shear of linear cold vortex thunderstorm gale;in September,the focus ison atmospheric precipitation.(4)According to the statistics of 492,000 radar samples of cold vortex thunderstorm gale,the linear cold vortex thunderstorm gale radar product threshold is greater than the other two types,and the advance time is slightly later than the other two types of thunderstorm gale.The characteristics of 62% cold vortex thunderstorm gale radar appear before the thunderstorm gale,which is predictable,and the linear thunderstorm gale combined reflectivity threshold is the largest(52d BZ).Radar radial velocity product identification is more accurate.Radar vertical liquid water content(12kg·m-2)and echo top height(9km)product thresholds have a good indication of strong thunderstorm gale(CR>50d BZ),but for the indication of weak thunderstorm gale The effect is small,and the change of the vertical liquid water content before the occurrence of a 40% cold vortex thunderstorm gale is less than 4kg.m-2.Through analysis,the application of thunderstorm gale radar product thresholds and extrapolation technology can further improve the forecast and early warning time effectiveness of thunderstorm gale..
