The adaptive anti-synchronization and the identification of unknown parameters between the different high-dimensional chaotic systems are studied based on the differential geometry method in the case of MIMO(multiple input and multiple output). After the relative degree of the system is adjusted with an additional control, the zero dynamics is derived from the error dynamics by the partial feedback linearization. As an internal process, the controller of the zero dynamics is designed by the adaptive method dependently and the parameter identification is obtained. The schemes of the chaos anti-synchronization for the five-dimensional and six-dimensional chaotic system are proposed respectively, and their effectiveness is verified. In the first chapter, the basic knowledge about the differential geometry and the new progress for the adaptive control method are briefed. In the second chapter, the recent development for the topic that related with this paper is introduced, including the adaptive dynamic surface control of strictly feedback nonlinear systems with parameter uncertainties and the anti-synchronization of full-parameter fractional-order hyper-chaotic systems. In the third chapter,a scheme of the anti-synchronization is proposed between the different five-dimensional chaos systems with the method mentioned above.Firstly a linear subsystem and a zero dynamic subsystem are derived from the error dynamics by the nonlinear coordinate transformation. Then the controller for the zero dynamic subsystem is designed dependently by the adaptive method due to the adjustment of the relative degree in beforehand, and the unknown parameters is identified at the same time.In the last chapter, another scheme is derived between the different six-dimensional chaotic systems by the same method to show that it is available for the other type of the high-dimensional chaos system. The simulation shows the effectiveness of the control schemes.
