In order to complete the acquisition of seismic data smoothly,the quality control(hereinafter referred to as QC)is required.The result of QC can help the operators to understand the working status of the data collection equipment,find out the abnormal in time,and make the rectification plan and measures.At present,the regularization and systematized of onboard QC on marine towing streamer acquisition is to a low degree.The content of QC is in chaos,the idea is unclear,and the process is very different,key point of QC lacks the relevant control technology.It is urgent to develop a set of new technologies and establish a scientific and reasonable processing flow to meet the accuracy,comprehensiveness and real time requirements,to guarantee that the acquisition work orderly.To solve the current dilemma,this paper has developed new QC technologies and established a scientific processing flow.First of all,according to the characteristics of its Marine towing seismic acquisition,the seismic data onboard QC is divided into four categories,including: QC of the source system,the instrument system,the navigation and positioning system and the seismic data processing.Secondly,we analyze the present situation and difficulty of each system separately,and develop new technologies and methods.For example,in the aspect of QC source system,bubble test method,pressure drop test and comparison technology of right and left energy are developed.especially the near-field processing technology,which can QC the work state in real-time;In the aspect of the QC instrument system,the method of measuring the relative sensitivity and the method of checking crosstalk noise are developed to evaluate the attributions of streamer comprehensively.In QC navigation and positioning system,we have developed a direct wave fitting method and the linear move-out technique,which can check the accuracy of acoustic systems and positioning system precisely.In QC seismic data processing,we have increased the wavelet processing and noise attenuation to improve data imaging resolution,and established a complete set of QC processing flow.Finally,applying the technology and processing flow to the actual project to improve the technology and complete the processing flow.The onboard QC plays a very important role in the marine towing streamer seismic exploration.The advance of onboard QC technology is helpful to improve the efficiency of marine seismic data acquisition,so it is of great significance to study the technology.The technologies real-time near-field hydrophone stack,relative sensitivity compensation and crosstalk noise in this paper are the first time to put forward in China.Moreover,they have been applied in production and practice,achieved good results,which have played a positive role in promoting the development of onboard QC field.
