Just like the many layers of optical medium,the one-dimensional cavities array with infinite length can have the significant influence on the propagation of a photonic,such as the reflection,transmission,the localization.The system can be of the Parity-Time symmetry by preparing the couplings between the neighbor cavities and the gain and loss of designated cavities,and so on.And the array can result in some special behavior of the photonic,like total reflection and the displacement of the scattering patterns.As one atom is prepared in the middle cavity,the scattering core can be had as a quantum switch to get the propagation of the photonic under control by modulation of the parameters related to the core.The scattering of a photonic in the infinite cavity array with a nine-cavity core inside is studied.We focus on the frequency detuning conditions between the core cavities and the tail cavity arrays.The detuning is sure to effect the scattering of a photonic.The reflection and transmission in the condition of detuning are compared with that in the resonant condition.Assuming there is the detuning between the core and tail cavities,the influences of such parameters as the cavity couplings in the core and the tails,the gain and loss of some cavities on the reflection and transmission of a photonic are analyzed.The case where there is prepared one two-level atom in the middle of the scattering core is discussed as well.The result shows that the number of the peaks and valleys of the reflection increases.And the curves will have a translation effectively with the detuning.The scattering will be symmetric according to the positive and negative detunings.It is interesting that the detuning can inhibit the change brought about by the decreasing coupling of the core.And it can inhibit the change of scattering by gain.It is included that the photonic propagation in the resonant condition is large different from that in detuning.It is demonstrated that the photonic propagation can be under control by modulating the scattering core.
