With the wide application of the Internet and various information transmission technologies,the security of information in communication and storage has become a hot research topic today.In addition to digital encryption,optical image encryption technology has attracted the attention of researchers for its unique high-speed parallel processing operations.Light has a variety of physical properties such as amplitude,phase,polarization,wavelength,and angular momentum.So it can be used to encrypt,which has a large key space and strong security.Since the double random phase encryption(DRPE)technology was first proposed in 1995,researchers have proposed many optical encryption system,such as joint transform correlator,Amplitude-/Phasetruncation and so on.From the perspective of cryptography,an optical encryption is proposed,which belongs to the category of cryptography.However,in terms of cryptanalysis,any cryptosystem needs to through rigorous cryptanalysis to prove its security.This paper investigates the current development of optical encryption technology and in-depth studies optical scanning hologram(OSH),whose security is systematically studied.At the same time,this paper proposes an asymmetric cryptosystem based on optical scanning cryptography and elliptic curve cryptography algorithm.The approach solves the problem of the management and dispatch of keys in optical encryption systems and has more security strength than them.The main work of this paper includes:1.Introduce the basic principle of optical scanning cryptosystem and the phase recovery algorithm used in optical cryptanalysis.2.This paper proposes known plaintext attack,chosen plaintext attack and ciphertext-only attack on optical scanning holography.In the known plaintext attack,attacker can derive decryption keys by using a plaintext-ciphertext pair.And then attacker can crack this system.In the chosen paintext attack,attacker choses delta function as the plaintext and can obtain decryption keys to crack it.The problem of ciphertext-only attack can be converted into a phase retrieval problem with a single intensity measurement because of the linear property of optical scanning cryptosystem.The attacker can recovery the plaintext via phase retrieval algorithm from the ciphertext only.3.This paper proposes an asymmetric cryptosystem based on optical scanning cryptography and elliptic curve cryptography algorithm.The approach is an asymmetric cryptosystem which solves the problem of the management and dispatch of keys in OSC and has more security strength than it.
