In the big data age, information visualization is very important for understanding the data collection and processing. It shows the data intuitively, let the data speak for itself, and let the audience hear the results.Usually,high-dimensional data is visualized as a set of points in two-dimensional space by dimensionality reduction. However,in general, traditional methods cannot capture infrastructure information, clustering and neighborhood.GMap: as a practical tool for visualizing relational data using geographically similar maps,it is very useful for understanding the information that relies on the geographic maps. The most important thing over the years is that the way maps show human information is deeply rooted in people's pre-undefined minds, giving people a direct or indirect connection of information. Therefore, the use of geographic maps as background metaphors in geographic related relational data visualizations is most appropriate.GMap works well in visualizing relational data. However, there are some defects in its context-aware functions. We usually use GMap to visualize large datasets, which has a large amount of information and produces a high degree of map density.Usually we look at the local details of a piece of information, selectively zoom in on different local areas, and because of the terminal screen, the entire image is not fully displayed on the screen. It makes it very inconvenient for us to understand the detail and its relational structures as a whole. In order to solve the above problems, this thesis proposes a fish-eye view model, aiming to provide efficient display of details of the region, which enables the rich content display of detailed information with variable levels of abstraction that preserves the overall structure of the graph. In GMap,the fish-eye lens can be amplified statically or dynamically.By adjusting the magnification, the focused data and its relational structures near the focal point can be displayed in detail, while it also shows the whole structure in abstract,as far away from the focal point, the magnification decreases, the details are less. The main reason for using fish-eye view to solve the above problem is that when people use GMap to visualize geographic related data, they often look at some specific information details and also need to understand the global information structure.Because that people have limited viewing power, they are most likely to reach the nearby parts by showing them all the details farther away and gradually reducing them.
