In recent years, with the increasing attention to maritime rights and interests of all countries in the world, the underwater sensor network has gradually become a research hotspot in the field of scientific research.Compared with the traditional land sensor network, the underwater sensor network has many differences. The node of the underwater sensor network is not fixed and t will float with the water flow.Due to the serious attenuation of radio waves in water, the underwater sensor network adopts the mode of acoustic communication, which results in the disadvantages of high packet transmission delay and low delivery rate.At present, most underwater sensor networks presuppose the cooperative behavior of nodes, but in reality, due to the limited resources of the nodes themselves, they will show some selfish behaviors in the process of maximizing their own interests. Therefore, there may be a part of selfish nodes in the network, which are not willing to consume their own resources to provide services for other nodes while utilizing network resources. Therefore, how to effectively encourage the cooperative behavior of nodes, maintain good network connectivity, and prolong the life cycle of the network has become a major challenge in the research field of UWSNs.This paper applies game theory to the routing protocol of underwater sensor networks.Based on the idea of game theory,a game model of equilibrium energy consumption is constructed, and an energy balance routing protocol(EBGT)based on game theory is proposed. The protocol introduces an energy attention factor that does not purely use residual energy as the sole criterion for adjusting the willingness of a node to forward.Instead, the forwarding strategy of the node is adjusted according to the difference between the current energy ratio of the node and the energy ratio of the neighbor nodes. The protocol was implemented in the simulation platform Aqua-Sim,and the protocol was compared with the classic DBR protocol. The experimental results show that the EBGT protocol has obvious advantages in balancing node energy consumption, maintaining network connectivity and extending network life cycle.
