The spatial distribution of rainfall in the northwestern Liaoning is uneven, the rainfall is small, the evaporation is large, the vegetation coverage is low,and the water leakage problem is extremely serious. Therefore, the study on soil infiltration characteristics of aeolian sandy land in northwestern Liaoning is of great significance for revealing soil water infiltration process, improving water use efficiency, vegetation restoration, land adjustment and rational utilization. This paper takes the wind-sand land of the Zhanggutai Experimental Station of the Institute of Sandy Land Management and Utilization of Liaoning Province as the research object, and analyzes the soil by various methods such as field sampling, field double-ring infiltration, indoor physical and chemical properties determination, data processing and statistical analysis. The characteristics of physical properties and their spatial variability reveal the spatial variability of soil water infiltration and the influencing factors of infiltration. The results are as follows:?1?The soil bulk density in the study area is between 1.25-1.66g/cm3;the total porosity is between 39.51%-52.63%,the capillary porosity is between 29.37%-44.42%,and the non-capillary porosity is between 2.75%-18.45%;the soil moisture content is between 2.26%and 11.14%;the soil sand content is between 80.03%and 99.78%,and the clay content is only0-3.43%.Soil bulk density, total porosity, capillary porosity, and sand content were all weakly mutated, and non-capillary porosity, soil moisture content, powder content, and clay content were moderately variable. In addition to soil capillary porosity, the gold factor is 20%,showing strong spatial autocorrelation. The soil sand, grain and clay nugget coefficients are 74%,80%,56%,respectively,with moderate spatial autocorrelation and other soils. The physical property nugget coefficient is 100%or approximately 100%,and there is no spatial autocorrelation.?2?There are differences in soil infiltration rate of typical plots in the study area, the infiltration rate of other forests is the largest, the arbor forest is the second, and the irrigated land is the smallest. The initial infiltration rate is between 6.14 and 8.55 mm/min,and the infiltration is stable. The rate is between 1.61 and 2.9 mm/min.There are differences in the goodness of fit of the three inversion regression models. The goodness of fit is the general empirical model?0.861?>Horton model?0.835?>Philip model?0.831?>Kastiakov model?0.796?.The soil infiltration rate also has a weak autocorrelation, and the nugget coefficient is 97.4%,which is consistent with the spatial variability of soil bulk density and soil porosity.?3?Soil infiltration rate was significantly negatively correlated with soil bulk density, and was significantly positively correlated with total porosity,non-capillary porosity and sand, with capillary porosity, soil moisture content, particle content and clay content. There was no significant correlation;there was a significant linear relationship between soil infiltration rate and soil physical properties of aeolian sandy soil in northwestern Liaoning, and the regression equation was Y=40.869-16.328X1-0.438X2+0.503X3-0.536X4+0.096X5+0.185X6-1.167X7.
