Product form design is not only an important part of product innovation design,but also a hot spot of industrial design research.A complete product design process will go through many stages from the beginning of demand research to the appearance of products.This study focuses on three stages closely related to industrial designers: user demand research,design factor decomposition and concept sketch generation.Faced with the challenges of these three design stages,most industrial designers adopted traditional design methods such as questionnaire survey and brainstorming.However,these traditional design methods were led by designers,inefficient and subjective.In recent years,with the booming development of big data and artificial intelligence technology,the rational apply of computer technology in these three design stages to assist in upgrading the traditional design patterns has become an important development trend for industrial design.Based on this,in the early stage of demand research,natural language processing method was used to mine users' demand,and the topic network model of user evaluation was established based on complex network theory;in the stage of form design element decomposition,the form analysis method was used to decompose design elements,and the design constraint network model was established based on complex network theory;in the stage of concept sketch generation,the adaptability evaluation was conducted through BP neural network,and the intelligent form design was developed combined with genetic algorithm.First,the user evaluation data of the target product were collected from the ecommerce platform;natural language processing tools were used to establish the topic model of the evaluation data;the complex network theory and the co-occurrence analysis method were combined to establish the user evaluation topic network,and the analysis results were intuitively displayed.Combining big data,machine learning algorithm and complex network technology,the users' demands were analyzed in a large scale,objective and efficient way.Second,on the basis of demand analysis,the form design elements were determined.In order to sort out various constraints related to form design elements,a constraint network model of product design was established under the guidance of complex network theory and graph theory.From the design constraint database,relevant elements were selected as form design constraint variables to construct design constraint network.The importance of network nodes was sorted by using complex network centrality index and dual graph,the key constraint nodes were obtained and the corresponding constraint variables were induced.Thirdly,on the premise of determining constraint variables of form design,genetic algorithm was used to develop form evolution design.The neural network for fitness evaluation was established and used as the fitness function of genetic algorithm after simulation and test;the control function of form size was added in the process of form evolution design to ensure that all form parameters meet the size constraint conditions;the product form evolution design was carried out by using basic genetic operators such as selection,crossover and variation to generate conceptual sketch scheme and provide design reference resources for product designers.The product of oxygen generator was selected as research object,through the construction of the evaluation topic network of oxygen generator,the users' demand were excavated according to the ranking of topic nodes;then through the construction of the design constraint network of oxygen generator,combined with the morphological analysis method,the form design elements of oxygen generator were obtained;finally,based on the results of the network analysis,the genetic algorithm was used to develop the intelligent design of oxygen generator form,the reference resources were provided for the form innovation design.
