exp(-?(?))method is applied to solve different types of fractional differential equa-tions.lt is often necessary to rely on the definition of fractional calculus and the homoge-neous balance principle. This method can be used to solve the Burgers' equation which is widely used in the field of mathematics and physics, the improved Burgers' equation, the classical spatio-temporal fractional order nonlinear partial differential KdV-ZK equation and the time and space fractional order Whitham-Broer-Kaup equations describing the propaga-tion of shallow water waves. These different types of equations and the approximate analyti-cal solutions of the equations have good research value. Therefore,it is necessary to use the exp(-?(?))method to solve the approximate analytical solutions of the above equations re-spectively.By using the exp(-?(?))method,the solutions of hyperbolic functions,trigono-metric functions and rational solutions of various equations are finally obtained. From the approximate analytical solutions and different types of numerical examples,it is shown that the approximate analytical solution of partial fractional partial differential equations and partial differential equations is very effective.
