Study On The Application Of The Synthetic Geophysics-Geochemical Methods In The Exploration Of Chiwawu Copper-Polymetallic Deposit In Baoding County,Hebei Province | Posted on:2021-04-26 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:X F Wang | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2370330620971679 | Subject:Geological engineering | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | The Chiwawu copper polymetallic mining area in Baoding,Hebei is located in the Chiwawu rock mass at the southern edge of the Chiwawu-DaHaituo tectonic magmatic beltthe,in the northwestern Sino-korean paraplatform(Ⅰ)Shanxi fault-uplif(Ⅱ)Wutai Platform(Ⅲ)Fuping dome bundle(Ⅳ)tectonic unit.Fuping metamorphic supracrustal rocks and metamorphic plutonic rocks are widely exposed in the area.Faults are well developed and the Taihang Mountains deep fault zone runs through the area.Magmatic activities have been intense since Mesozoic,and multi-stage pulsating intrusions have formed the Mapeng-chiwawu compound intermediate-acid complex,it provides favorable geological conditions for the mineralization of copper-polymetallic deposits in the area.The copper polymetallic mineralization in the Chiwawu area belongs to the porphyry type copper deposit.It has been found that the ore body is mainly produced inside the Chiwawu rock body,and is mainly based on the fine vein impregnation type mineralization.Ore main metal minerals chalcopyrite,molybdenite,scheelite;main gangue minerals plagioclase,potash feldspar,quartz,amphibole;according to the metallogenic temperature and mineral assemblage,it can be divided into three metallogenic stages: quartz-chalcopyrite stage,potassium-polymetallic stage and carbonate stage.;the surrounding rocks are strongly altered,with a wide range of alterations,multi-stages,and multi-stages superimposed on different zones,with the ore-producing rock mass as the center,The formation of strong silicidation,potassium silicidation,and quartz sericite mineralization and alteration zone phenomenon.This work mainly carried out the Geological survey and prospecting model of copper polymetallic ore in the Chiwawu area by using a variety of comprehensive research methods the Synthetic Method of Geophysics-geochemical Exploration,such as IP intermediate gradient,rock geochemistry survey,IP intermediate gradient in borehole,etc.The main knowledge gained is as follows:1.The geological characteristics and genesis of the deposit have been studied,and consider that the Mapeng-Chiwawu rock body belongs to the Yanshanian multiple int rusion,and.The deposit is controlled by the granodiorite and porphyritic granodiorite porphyry alteration system inside the Chiwawu rock mass,and the porphyry mineralization characteristics are obvious.The ore-forming model of the deposit is preliminarily considered to be the formation of a high initial ore source layer with a high polymetal content,during large-scale tectonic and magmatic activities,multiple periods of intrusion and remelting have resulted in the formation of a magmatic hydrothermal fluid with a high polymetal content.Polymetallic elements are constantly enriched in ore deposits at favorable locations in the metallogenic structure.2.The abnormal patterns of low resistivity(less than 800Ω·m)and high polarization(more than 2.5%)are found by IP intermediate gradient measurement in the study area,which accurately reflect the characteristics of mineralized belt in the survey area and are in good agreement with the known geological information,it reflects the spatial distribution characteristics of mineralized bodies,rock strata and rock mass,and makes a scientific prediction of the deep scale and shape of mineralized bodies,which provides data support for studying the distribution of mineral deposits3.By means of rock geochemistry,the geochemistry anomalies are circled,and the abnormal elements Mo,Bi,Cu,Ag and W in the area survey of the geochemistry are well correlated with each other.4.Comprehensively study the characteristics of geophysical and geochemical anomalies in the mining area,and use the combined profile to carry out geophysical and geochemical exploration techniques and methods on the favorable areas of ore-forming,analyze the comprehensive anomalous characteristics and discover the copper,molybdenum,and tungsten mineralization bodies through engineering verification,and obtain good prospecting The results have accumulated practical experience for the prospecting application of comprehensive geophysical and geochemical exploration methods in polymetallic mining areas. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Copper polymetallic ore, IP intermediate gradient, Rock Geochemistry Survey, Geophysics-geochemical Methods, Chiwawu Exploration area, Baoding,Hebei | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
