In recent years,with the rise and development of "Digital Earth" and "smart cities",the generation of high fidelity and high fidelity DEM is imminent.However,the traditional DEM spatial interpolation methods have their own shortcomings and disadvantages,resulting in DEM modeling results are not very satisfactory.The entropy function is the principle of minimum cross entropy principle and the maximum entropy model is specifically applied to DEM spatial interpolation,in order to meet the growing demand of the generation of high precision DEM,and thus help and beneficial impact on people's production and life.This article discusses the idea and main work is an example based on the data,as the traditional interpolation methods represent generating contour map by Yang Chizhong interpolation method,using TIN method to generate contour map as the actual terrain,using the maximum entropy and minimum cross entropy principle method respectively,space interpolation and generating contour map with the above two kinds of space the interpolation results from the comparison with the weight coefficient,variance,weight distribution,weight coefficient,and mappingeffect etc..This paper is divided into three parts,the first part is to sum up the traditional DEM interpolation method,and discusses the drawbacks.For example,the reference point weight coefficient is negative and the distribution is not reasonable.In the second part,we introduce the principle of minimum cross entropy and maximum entropy model and DEM interpolation method.The last part is a mountainous terrain for the sample space,to obtain the sample data,respectively by Yang Chizhong algorithm,the minimum cross entropy principle and maximum entropy model for spatial interpolation,spatial interpolation and the measured data were compared,and then determine the optimal way of modeling DEM spatial interpolation method.Through the discussion and study of this paper,the following conclusions can be drawn: maximum entropy and minimum cross entropy principle is applied to the DEM spatial interpolation method can effectively solve the influence of negative rights and human factors;maximum entropy model spatial interpolation weight distribution is better than the minimum cross entropy principle and Yang Chizhong interpolation method;maximum entropy model interpolation mappingeffect is optimal,Yang Chizhong method of minimum cross entropy interpolation again.The maximum entropy model space interpolation method can meet the demand of DEM modeling inthe new situation,and it is suggested to be widely applied.
