Electromagnetic wave absorption is widely used in our life,whether in terahertz band or microwave band,such as communication system,radar monitoring,plasma detection,thermal detectors,etc.It plays an important role in our life.There are many kinds of materials used in electromagnetic wave absorption research,among which graphene is widely used in electromagnetic wave absorption.Graphene has become a research hotspot because of its unique two-dimensional structure and excellent properties(such as light weight,good thermal stability,large specific surface area,etc.),electromagnetic wave absorption is one of the more important application fields.Compared with traditional electromagnetic wave absorbing materials,graphene-based electromagnetic wave absorbing materials have excellent properties such as light weight,high absorption strength and wide bandwidth.Moreover,the electromagnetic wave absorption structure based on graphene can effectively improve the absorption characteristics.Therefore,it has great potential to study the application of graphene in the field of electromagnetic wave absorption.In this thesis,based on graphene,the variation of electromagnetic wave absorption characteristics of photonic crystal structure with graphene was studied,and the electromagnetic wave absorption characteristics of graphene matrix composites were also studied.In this thesis,due to the introduction of graphene,the absorption characteristics of the designed photonic crystals have been significantly improved.For graphene-based nanocomposites materials,electromagnetic wave absorbing materials with excellent absorption effects are obtained by exploring the synthetic conditions,the proportion of materials in the composites,dielectric loss analysis,impedance matching characteristics and so on.The results show that the introduction of graphene into photonic crystals is helpful to find promising applications in the corresponding frequencies(terahertz band),including optical logic devices,optimized narrowband tunable absorbers,optical filters and optical switches;and the results of graphene-based nanocomposites materials have great significance for exploring lightweight electromagnetic wave absorbing materials or lightweight electromagnetic wave absorbers.
