The rapid growth of population and the increase of industrial and agricultural land lead to the shortage of soil resources.Human activities affect the development of the ecological environment and make soil resources more scarce.Saline-alkali land,as an important land resource, has come into people's sight.Bioremediation is one of the important methods to improve saline-alkali land.As a new type of polygonum plant,Rumex dapibus herba by.grass has saline-alkali resistance. For the study of saline-alkali land Rumex dapibus herba by.grass root distribution characteristics, this study using the method of in situ monitoring sampling method and profile on Rumex dapibus herba by.grass root collection, research different observation methods of saline-alkali land Rumex dapibus herba by.grass root relationship,saline-alkali land Rumex dapibus herba by.grass root profile distribution of different period,saline-alkali land Rumex dapibus herba by.grass biomass variation characteristics during different periods. The main research results are as follows:1.The change trend of root length and root volume measured by in situ method and profile method was consistent, showing a positive correlation, and the root length and root volume measured by the two methods were the largest in the soil layer between 0 and 20cm.The root length and root volume measured by section method were higher than those measured by in situ method. There was a significant linear relationship between root length and root volume measured by in situ method and in profile method, with R~2 of 0.354 and 0.941,respectively.2.With the increase of months, the root system of Rumex dapibus herba by.grows downward gradually. In June, the distribution of Rumex dapibus herba by.grass roots ranged from 0 to 50 cm,increased to 70 cm in September and 80 cm in November. The changes of grass root length, average root diameter and root volume were as follows:with the increase of soil depth, the roots gradually decreased. In the vertical direction, the grass root length, average root diameter and root volume in June,September and November were mainly distributed between 0 and 30 cm.From the perspective of different soil layers, the root length, average root diameter and root volume in June,September and November are shown as the surface layer(0~30 cm)and the bottom layer(30~80 cm).3.The biomass of Rumex dapibus herba by.grass roots was mainly distributed in the soil layer of 0~30 cm.The biomass of Rumex dapibus herba by.grass roots decreased with the increase of soil depth and showed an increasing trend with the increase of months. The biomass of Rumex dapibus herba by.grass increases gradually with the increase of months. The proportion of the surface soil(0~30 cm)of the biomass of the root system of Rumex dapibus herba by.grass is very large. The change trend of root length and root volume measured by in situ method and profile method was consistent, showing a positive correlation, and the root length and root volume measured in 0-20cm soil layer were the largest. The distribution area of the root system increased with the increase of months. The roots of Rumex dapibus herba by.were mainly distributed in the soil layer of 0~30cm.The root length, the average root diameter and the root volume of the Rumex dapibus herba by.system increased with the increase of months and decreased with the increase of soil depth. The biomass of the upper part and the biomass of the root system increased with the increase of months.
