The rise of China's science and technology must be supported by appropriate social and cultural conditions.Chen-Ning Yang is a great man of physics in the 20 th century and has made great contributions to the world's science and technology. At the same time,he also cares about China's science and technology cause and proposes four basic conditions that must be met for the development of science and technology: talent, tradition, open communication, and economy. So why does Chen-Ning Yang consider these four aspects important? What is the specific content? What is the inner logic?Based on the above questions, the main body of the paper is divided into the following four chapters:The first chapter is divided into two parts: Chen-Ning Yang's growth background and his scientific research experience. The first part writes about the education, knowledge and information obtained during the period from the beginning of his education to the time he obtained his doctorate;the second part writes the results he has obtained, the scientists he met,and his teaching experience since the beginning of scientific research. Each of the important stages in Chen-Ning Yang's life experience has a certain influence on the formation of his scientific and technological strategic thinking on the social and cultural conditions necessary to support China's scientific and technological development. The second chapter summarizes the characteristics of first-class scientific and technological talents in Chen-Ning Yang's eyes from the standards of first-class scientific and technological talents considered by Chen-Ning Yang, and draws out what kind of talents, including scientists, are needed for China's development. Then it is demonstrated that the training of scientific and technological talents must meet the requirements of the times. The third chapter first sorts out what Chen-Ning Yang has said many times on different occasions: we should dialectically view the impact of Chinese traditional culture on the development of science and technology. Then pointed out that Chen-Ning Yang himself was deeply affected by the traditional Chinese culture. The second part discusses the importance of scientific tradition in Chen-Ning Yang's eyes, and concludes with an overview of how to build a scientific tradition in his opinion. The fourth chapter enumerates the need for open communication between scientists, open communication between disciplines, and open communication between countries. This proves that scientific and technological development is inseparable from open communication. Then stressed that Chinese technology should be actively integrated into the world.Chen-Ning Yang is very concerned about this thing, and as the first Chinese-American famous scientist to visit China after relaxation of Sino-US relations,he played an important role in the process of scientific and technological exchanges between China and the West. The fifth chapter first discusses that in the view of Chen-Ning Yang, science and technology and economy are closely intertwined and mutually supportive. Then combing Chen-Ning Yang's deep insights and suggestions on the issue of capital allocation in scientific and technological development after economic development.
