Inquiry behavior,the activities with the clear purpose from the starting point to the end point,is throughout our daily life.It is the research focus and trends of cognitive navigation in recent years.Therefore,the wayfinding method,which is more applicable to different navigation areas and can still provide different intensities of navigation information with insufficient road datasets in the studies on the use of different navigation areas,provides urban level of spatial knowledge for personalized intelligent location services.And it has strong necessity and practical value.Considering the connection between multi-criteria fuzzy decision-making method and comprehensive method of multi-factor landmark ranking,and then based on analysing to formally specify the landmark saliency of a feature and vague soft sets multi-criteria fuzzy decision-making method,this paper constructs the landmark extraction method based on vague soft sets similarity measure and fuzzy entropy.At last,it is applied in route guidance.The contents of this paper mainly include:1)Studying calculation model of various factors on formally specify the landmark saliency of a feature.Firstly,the landmark saliency of different individual feature are defined,drawing on the formal model of existing influencing factors,this paper poses the model of the landmark saliency of each feature,and then combining them together to form the global measure of the landmark saliency of each feature in the datasets.It is used to select the most important landmark at each decision point included in the routing instruction.This approach integrates the selection of significant features in the search direction,compared to the way based only on geometrical or geometric and static points,will result in a lower recognition workload and a higher success rate.2)A method of landmark extraction based on vague soft sets similarity measure is proposed.On the thoughts of distance weighted for the unknown degree distance,this paper proposes a new similarity measure between vague soft sets.The proposed similarity measures are illustrated by analyzing the data examples that it gives consideration to both the reasonableness of the measurements and stronger discrimination of similarity measures.It is proved in the landmark extraction study.3)A method of landmark extraction based on vague soft sets fuzzy entropy is proposed.Analyzing the defect of existing construction method currently on vague soft set entropy,this paper proposes a new method of vague soft sets fuzzy entropy.It really does well containing both unpredictability and uncertainty of vague sets showing its rationality through the data analysis by comparison.Finally,it is applied to the landmark extraction example,and the validity and feasibility of vague soft sets fuzzy entropy are explained.4)Determining the schema of wayfinding.According to the method of landmark extraction based on vague soft sets similarity measure and fuzzy entropy,constructing a route-oriented output expressed in natural language text can be more in line with people's cognitive habits and wayfinding description,thereby reducing cognitive stress and increasing the success rate of route guidance.
