The Shouyangshan mine is located in the south Qinshui Coalfield and subordinated to Changzhi city,Shanxi Province.The coal-bearing strata is Taiyuan Formation of Carboniferous and Shanxi Formation of Permian.The Taiyuan Fornation thickness is 90.91m-122.02 m,with an average of 112.95 m,There are 10 layers coal seam in the Taiyuan Fornation.The main available coal seams in the area are No.15 and NO.9 coal seam,No.15 coal seam is stable,No.9 coal seam is unstable.The Shanxi Fornation thickness is 34.82m-65.98 m,with an average of 53.60 m,There are 3 layers coal seam in the Shanxi Fornation.The main available coal seams in the area are No.3 coal seam.No.3 and No.9 coal of the Shouyangshan mine is the research object,The major element petrographic characteristics,trace element and minerals were analyzed by XRD,XRF,ICP-MS and SEM-EDS,and were studied using the theoretical knowledge of significant,coal petrology,mineralogy,geochemistry and so on.Discuss the Content change,Distribution Law and occurrence of minerals and elements in coal.There are mainly calrain in the No.3 coal,and There are mainly semibright coal in the No.9 coal.The microstructures of the coal were dominated by vitrinite(more than 70%),inertinite and exinite were less.No.3 coal has the highest content of clay minerals,followed by calcite and dolomite,and a small amount of quartz and pyrite are found.No.9 coal has the highest content of clay minerals,followed by quartz and calcite,and a small amount of dolomite,pyrite,siderite,magnesite,and barite.Gypsum and feldspar have only appeared in a few coal seams.The average content of Li,Sr,Cr,Ga,Pb and U in No.3 coal is greater than the average value of Chinese coal.The average content of Li,Be,Sc,V,Cr,Cu,Ga,Zr,Nb,Hf,Pb,Th,U,Mo and Ba in No.9 coal is higher than the average value of Chinese coal.Li,Sr,Zr,Pb,and Th are abundant in No.3 coal,and Li,Sc,V,Cu,Zr,Nb,Mo,Hf,Th,and U are abundant in No.9 coal.Only the La and Y elements in the No.3 coal of Shouyang Mountain are normal,and the other elements are all in a loss,The La element in the No.9 coal has a moderate degree of enrichment and the remaining elements are enriched.The content of REY in No.9 coal of Shouyangshan is higher than that of No.3 coal,The REY in No.3 and No.9 coals are enriched in normal.The REY enrichment type is LREY.The sedimentary type of No.3 and No.9 coal in Shouyang Mountain is a continental deposit marsh.According to the comparison of various methods,it is determined that the coal-forming environment of the whole study area is a weak oxidative strong reduction environment.The coal-forming environment of No.3 coal in Shouyang Mountain belongs to semidry and semimoist climate,The coal-forming environment of No.9 coal in Shouyang Mountain belongs to moist climate.
