| Subsea umbilical is an important link to transmit power and chemicals in underwater production system,In today’s deep-sea development projects,often up to tens of kilometers,its expensive,bulky,inconvenient transport characteristics invisibly increase the cost of underwater equipment testing,increasing the difficulty of testing.Therefore,expect using a compact and low cost umbilical simulation device,which can be equivalent to the real umbilical cord cable in power transmission characteristics,and can adjust parameters within a certain range.This paper studies the electrical transmission characteristics of long umbilical cord cable,determines the equivalent theory of electrical transmission characteristics,proposes a new distributed improved PI-type circuit model,and provides the calculation method of the optimal analog line diameter.Multisim software is used to simulate the voltage drop characteristics,signal transmission attenuation characteristics and power carrier characteristics of the equivalent circuit.A simulation device for electrical transmission characteristics of umbilical cord cable is designed and manufactured,which can be used to simulate the diameter of 10 mm and 16 mm lines and can adjust the analog distance from 1 to 25 km.According to a standby design idea,each of the lines in the simulation device has two identical circuits.According to the testing standard of underwater control system,the electrical transmission characteristics of the simulator are validated according to the process of product unit test,subsystem joint test and system joint test,and the classification society is invited to testify.The results show that the simulator can well simulate the power and signal transmission characteristics of the real umbilical cord cable. |
