In this thesis,we analyze stabilities and error estimates of three semi-implicit schemes for the Cahn-Hilliard equation by a mixed finite element method, and the convergence order of the two schemes is verified by numerical examples. The stability analysis is based on energy estimation, that is to say,the property of energy decay with time can be maintained under certain conditions.Error estimation is based on the stability condition by the defined elliptic projection operator. Two numerical examples are used to describe the image at different times to observe the change of substance concentration.
