| In the space environment,celestial bodies radiate electromagnetic waves and high-energy particles outward,forming cosmic rays.These cosmic rays will affect the stability and reliability of electronic devices.With the rapid development of integrated circuits,the size of transistors in integrated circuits has gradually entered the nanometer level,and the process line width has gradually decreased.The improvement of the process has caused the number of doped particles in the transistor to continue to decrease,resulting in the amount of charge carried by the transistor Reduce,so in the space radiation environment,the components are more vulnerable to the impact of space particles and soft errors.This article focuses on the impact of the single particle transient effect(SET,Single Event Transient)in the single particle effect(SEE,Single Event Effect)on the clock network in the integrated circuit.This paper implements three more commonly used clock networks,namely clock tree,tree mesh clock and fishbone mesh clock.Use the fault injection evaluation tool to evaluate SET sensitivity of the three clock networks,and analyze the node error rate of all clock nodes in the clock network.For the Ethernet IP circuit,the clock tree is designed and the SET fault sensitivity of the clock tree is analyzed.For circuit 3-s35932,three clock networks are designed and the SET fault sensitivity of the three clock networks is analyzed.According to the evaluation results of the clock network,the three-mode redundancy hardening technology is used.Considering the large scale of the clock network,some clock nodes with a high node error rate are selected as the objects of hardening.After the hardening is completed,the fault injection evaluation is used again.The tool performs SET sensitivity evaluation on the hardened clock network to check the effect of hardening.And the cost of the reinforced clock network in the three aspects of timing,area and power consumption is obtained.This article focuses on the evaluation and analysis of the sensitivity of the clock network SET.For the more sensitive parts,the three-mode redundancy hardening technology is used for hardening.The three clock networks all show strong sensitivity to SET failure.The system error rate of the Ethernet IP clock tree is 30.61%,and it drops to 0%.The system error rates of the clock tree,tree mesh clock,and fishbone mesh clock of circuit 3-s35932 are28.67%,45.76%,and 44.63%,respectively;after hardening the nodes with higher error rates,the system error rates decrease To 11.44%,5.55% and 5.23%. |
