Today in the 21 st century,fast and efficient have become synonymous with automation and intelligence.The purpose of this article is to measure the loading capacity of gangue trucks.In order to solve the problems of large environmental impact and high maintenance cost existing in the traditional weighing method of platform scales,a method that can measure the volume of moving irregular objects is selected.Laser triangulation is a non-contact measurement method with large measurement range and high accuracy.Through preliminary investigations,a system based on laser triangulation to measure the loading capacity of gangue trucks was designed according to the site conditions.The main research contents are as follows:(1)A load measurement system based on laser triangulation is designed.The direct laser triangulation method was selected by studying the principle of load measurement.The system uses high-power lasers and 3D cameras as detection equipment.The laser emits a laser line to scan the entire measured object.The camera receives the laser line reflected from the surface of the object,collects the image and transmits it to the computer for storage.(2)For the calibration problem of the measurement system,first use the 7×11 specification checkerboard calibration board to perform plane calibration to achieve lens distortion correction;then use the calibration block to perform 3D calibration on the measured object to obtain the object relative to the measurement The initial data of the system.Since the gangue truck is a non-constant speed moving body,the speed of the vehicle needs to be detected in real time.The camera's internal trigger is used to determine the start and end of the system's acquisition work,and the speed measurement is achieved by setting the camera's horizontal frequency.(3)In terms of image processing,the median filter method is used to filter the image collected by the camera to eliminate the effect of noise on the result;the effective area of the image is segmented by the threshold segmentation method,and the garbage truck compartment is extracted;gray The degree-of-gravity method is used to extract the center of the laser line to obtain the height information about the scanning end surface of the gangue truck.Using these data,the integral method is used to calculate the volume of the gangue truck,and the density is combined to obtain the loading capacity of the carriage.(4)In this paper,the designed gangue truck loading measurement system has been built and experimentally verified.The image processing platform Halcon is used to design the software of the measurement system.Through the field experiment of multiple vehicles,the measurement data of the system is compared with the weighing data of the platform scale to obtain themeasurement error of the system,and then the cause of the error is analyzed and a method to eliminate it is proposed.
