The outdoor space provides urban residents with social, exercise, entertainment and other activities.A comfortable outdoor thermal environment is very important for the utilization and livability of urban outdoor spaces, but the design of outdoor spaces rarely considers the relationship between thermal environment and thermal adaptation behavior, and there are fewer studies on outdoor thermal adaptation behavior in severe cold areas in China Therefore, this paper mainly studies the outdoor heat adaptation behavior law in severe cold areas in China, represented by Fuxin City, through microclimate measurement, questionnaire survey, activity and heat adaptation behavior records. The analysis of the outdoor activity rate data shows that the outdoor thermal environment has a great influence on the spontaneous activity rate.In the cold season, the air temperature and wind speed have a significant effect on the spontaneous activity rate, and the air temperature has a greater impact on the spontaneous activity rate, and at the same temperature, the windy environment has a negative effect on the spontaneous activity rate;Season, air temperature and relative humidity have a significant effect on spontaneous activity rate, air temperature has a greater impact on spontaneous activity rate, and at the same temperature, high humidity environment has a negative effect on spontaneous activity rate. For people with different activity states and genders in outdoor spaces, due to differences in psychology and physiology, they are also affected by the environment in different degrees.Because the metabolic rate of static activity is lower than that of dynamic activity, its preferred thermal environment is 5°C higher than that of dynamic activity. In addition, because men are more sensitive to thermal environments than women, male activity rates are more affected by thermal environments.Through the questionnaire survey and literature summary,we can know that the heat adaptation behaviors commonly used by people when going out include shadows, site transfer in the sun zone, the use of parasols, clothing adjustment, and length of stay adjustment. This article discusses the relationship between these heat adaptation behaviors and the thermal environment.relationship.It was found that the air temperature had a significant effect on the site transfer, the use of parasols, and the length of stay, the air temperature and relative humidity had a significant effect on theamount of clothing, and other thermal parameters had basically no effect on each thermal adaptation behavior. In addition, this study explored the effects of gender differences on various thermal adaptation behaviors. The results show that women's sensitivity to air temperature is greater than men's in terms of field transfer and length of stay, and the effect of solar radiation on women's clothing is greater than men's.This study summarizes the law of outdoor activity rate and heat adaptation behavior of severely cold areas with environmental changes, and lays the foundation for the design of urban outdoor environment and the guidance of residents' heat adaptation behavior.?The paper has 41 pictures,11 tables, and 54 references.
