Among the various vibration control technologies in modern industry,the addition of damping to the vibration system is a very effective way to reduce vibration,so various types of dampers have been extensively researched and developed.Since electromagnetic dampers have the characteristics of no mechanical friction,no wear,no need of lubrication,and long life,etc.,they have also attracted more and more attention as an actuator for damping the system.This article mainly carried out the research of electromagnetic damper to actively control the vibration of the rotor system,and carried out simulation and experimental analysis respectively.This paper first uses ANSYS Workbench software to model and simulate the rotor system.And analyzes the rotor system modal,and studies the dynamics of the rotor system with damping when the number of dampers,shaft speed,stiffness and damping are changed.Influence of characteristics,the results show that adding a reasonable damper to the rotor system can effectively suppress the rotor vibration.Based on the simulation analysis results,starting from the material selection,working point selection,rotor structure,stator pole arrangement and other structural parameters,after a reasonable analysis and selection according to the actual engineering situation,an electromagnetic damper for controlling rotor vibration was designed.The temperature rise,resistance and inductance of the electromagnetic damper are analyzed.The mathematical expressions of the damping coefficient and stiffness coefficient of the electromagnetic damper are derived,and the relationship between the current amplification coefficient,damping coefficient,total stiffness coefficient and current is analyzed.According to the transfer function expression of the electromagnetic damper-rotor system,a PID control system of active electromagnetic damping is designed,and the relationship between the controller parameters and the equivalent stiffness and equivalent damping of the electromagnetic damper is analyzed.An experimental platform of active electromagnetic damping-rotor system was built.On this experimental platform,the rotor vibration experiment under passive damping and the rotor vibration experiment under active control damping were conducted respectively.The PID control of active electromagnetic damping under different bias currents at the same speed was analyzed.For the suppression of rotor vibration,the vibration test experiment of the rotor system under three conditions of undamped,passive damping and active control damping was carried out,which further verified the damping effect of the external damper on the rotor system.The experimental results show that the active control damping has a better suppression effect on the vibration of the rotor system.
